![]() ![]() ![]() Regarding the priming: I completely feel your struggle. Sometimes I add a bit of Matt medium to thin down the colour without watering it down too much. For highlights, I mix it with a bit of yellow and white. For larger areas where you want to keep stronger consistency, it is best to have one basic colour where you don't have to worry about getting the colour right every time.Īs an example: I use a basic red by Vallejo. I would recommend the colour mixing only for highlights and edges though. If a more Aged leather, then Rawhide, Dark Tone, with a Cypress Brown highlight. You can use a drybrush of Plate Metal as the Mega set doesnt have Gun Metalįor a normal leather Rawhide, Strong Tone, with Leather Brown Highlight. Before I switched to GW golds, I used AP Greedy Gold with a Strong Tone wash, followed by a Gun Metal drybrush. Not in color choice, just I prefer the GW Retributor Gold with Riekland Flashshade combo. For lighter Bone start with Skeleton Bone, Soft Tone, then Bleached Bone. If you want a darker bone Charred Bone, Strong Tone, Skeleton Bone. I would probably use Red Tone for shading, though Dark Tone if no Red Tone.īone, skulls, etc. Maybe Rebel Red, with either Pure Red highlights or even Fairy Pink highlights. The Inner Robe is more of a wine color, and one I dont know how to do with AP. It is far more Red than GW Carroburg Crimson shade. You can shade with Strong or Dark Tone, but the AP Red Tone is probably what I would use. ![]() Outer Robes I would probably do Encarmine Red, Pure Red, and Archangel Red. Though stopping at Regiment or Uniform depending on how bright the highlights you want them to be Matte Black, highlighted with Regiment Grey and up to Cadre Grey. Ok, so just now having a look at the AP Air line (its new to me), it is using pretty much standard colors and their Triad Groups sets.ĭo you have the AP Tones? Dark Tone, Strong Tone, and Soft Tone specifically?įor Martyred Lady, I think it would be fairly straight forward. Read the Full Rules Here! Message the Moderators. ![]()
